Helena records her first CD, The
recording of Helena's first CD took
place at Skylight Studio in New Jersey.
The studio is very popular with all the
salsa and merengue artists in New
York. For example, while Helena was
beginning work on her CD, in studio
"B", La India was finishing work on
her CD in studio "A" with producer
Isidro Infante.

On October 11, 1997 Helena's management
company (JRS Productions Inc.) along
with the cooperation of The Rock and Roll
Hall Of Fame and Combo Records held
what was billed as a Tribute To Salsa.
This particular date was chosen because it
was during National Hispanic Month.
This site was chosen because Helena felt
that it was only fitting to debut her first
album in front of her home crowd and
thank everyone for thier support. The
response was awesome, to say the least.
This was the first time that Latin Music
was performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame.
